Welcome
. . . to my world, be careful where you tread and enjoy what you see. Leave behind nothing but your footprints and take back with you nothing but memories and thoughts. Enjoy . . .
Remember everything, forget nothing. For all that is forgotten returns to the ever-circling winds. Navajo Wind Chant
The Distant Heart
Rusty leaves that fade at dawn
To sleep until another night
Dreams that always come to naught
And leave you center-stage
To admire your audience of one
Who stands and stares so longingly
From shorelines to skylines
Of buildings towering tall and gray
And far below city streets around their feet entwine
Rush hour commuters hurry past
Oblivious of the distant heart that pines
For peace in the canyons and dizzy mountain heights
To ride the warm breeze to the ocean shore
And sing to me just once more.
A J Fenton
